Doppler scan tomorrow

So after my last one (at around 22 weeks) I have another scan tomorrow morning. I was OK up until now but know today I am worrying about it!

At my last appointment my consultant doubled my aspirin dose. Have no idea if it is making a difference but I can definitely see the bruising effect! My BP has been good/low since this increase in aspirin. On Monday it was 110/75. My UTI seems to have gone too- I did have another sample sent off on Monday so they will hopefully have the results tomorrow.

My last doppler showed some blood flow issues and a notch on one of my sides. So we'll have to see what tomorrow brings!

In a selfish way I want things to be OK as we have a wedding in 3 weeks that I would really like to go to. My H is groomsman at it and we would need to travel to it. At this gestation in any other pregnancy I wouldn't hesitate! So any vibes going for a good scan tomorrow would be much appreciated!

Keep us posted. Remember scans provide very good clues but are not an exact science.

My first few doppler scans showed blood flow issues and a notch on one side, so I know what a worry it is. (After several weeks of worry, my third doppler was all ok).

So I had my appointment and scan today. BP 118/80 and urine clear. Scan was OK too- blood flow seems OK, baby measuring a little bit small (estimated at 2lb 12) but that is to be expected with having the notch earlier. They will re-scan me in 4 weeks time and I will see the midwife weekly from now on. So overall the consultant is very happy with me- although she did joke and say I am sure you will throw up problems later on!

The doppler this time was done over my tummy rather than vaginally. Although this means nothing to me the doppler notes say:

umbilical artery: PI 1.23
RI 0.73
Enddiastolic flow: positive
Oh and baby is lying breech- like it has been for at least the last month! No wonder my heartburn won't go away!

So so far so good!
