Hi all,

I thought you might be interested in this seminar that I have been asked to invite you to.

Lecture for Midwives on 25th November at Imperial College, Kensington London.

The lecture is in aid of Maternity Worldwide.

The main topic is clearly one none of us really want to think about but at sometime over our pregnancies have been forced to.

Professor Andrew Shennan is a leading expert in the field of hypertensive pregnancy & was instrumental in the creation of the PRECOG guidelines as well as continuing with his clinical work, caring for women who have had or at high risk of developing complications.

If you would like to attend this seminar, which is being supported by the Blood Pressure Association and Microlife please let me know.

Please come along and send these details to as many ...people that you know who might be interested. This will be of interest to midwives, doctors and lay people interested in pre-eclampsia and gestational hypertension.

See you there!
Liz

I have often thought how "lucky" I was to at least be in a Western Developed country near a tertiary referral centre when I got sick. I think its very likely I would now be dead or at best brain damaged if I lived in rural Africa, for example. Not sure if I will come but will try to contribute
