Hi, I had a 32+1 scan on thursday; everything was totally fine, baby 4lb 2.6 oz, head down and very low. Remains a bit fat around the abdomen for this gestation! So different from my last pregnancy its untrue really.

I've started having lots of sharp pains going through my pelvis for a week or so and some contractions; am wondering if I might just go into labour early?, or maybe this is totally normal by 32 weeks? (but even if I do I'll probably get a bit further and baby is doing well at the moment, as far as anyone can tell). Lets hope it stays that way!

Hope everyone else is doing well

Thats great news Jules.

The pains could just be Braxton Hicks - they can be incredibly painful and most noticeable anywhen from now on in your gestation.

Best Wishes

Every Woman is entitled to understand what happened in her pregnancy when pre eclampsia strikes. I hope to be able to support that process.

Hi Jules,

So glad everything went well at your scan and what a good weight for baby.

Thats me 32 + 6 now and i've been getting the practice contractions too and feels painful around my pelvis at times. I'm pretty sure this is all normal.

Take care
