Its now two years since Alice was stillborn. The time goes on but even having Rachel does not reduce my pain and sadness. Happy birthday Alice; wish so much you were still with us xx

Hi Jules,

I really wanted to echo Thiaba's words, and wish for you that today passes as you want it to. Having other children can never replace the loss of a baby.
Each milestone they achieve can make you mourn for the lost milestones and the wonderful memories you dreamed to have.
Alices memory is the treasured gift she gave you to keep in your heart forever.
You have come such a long way in two years Jules but it really is only a short time and there will be days when for some reason it will knock you sideways once more and days when the day passes with a thought and a smile for her.

Happy birthday Alice, send a smile to your mummy from the stars.

You and Alice are both in my thoughts. This journey is so unfair, and like you say- having another baby doesn't make it any easier. I hope today went as well as it could do.
