My darling girl Aimee, is 12 today!
Who would have thought, 12 years ago I was suffering suspected salmonella & watching for the signs of early labour! I never knew about PE.
I had heard of it having nursed a lady many moons ago during my nurse training but thats really all I knew.
When the impact really hit, my life changed forever.
The first birthdays were emotionally a minefield - caught between the upset of her arrival & the elation of her existance. Even now - I think of her arrival tinged with sadness of all the dreams we lost. But then I think of the birthdays she has had since & the real laughs we have had together...and those are the precious memories I think of now.
Her laugh really is infectious & never fails to cause me to collapse like a deckchair at her antics!
I am so very proud of my young lady - she has inner strength I never cease to admire & a heart keen to wring out every ounce of life.Happy Birthday Munchkin xxxxxx
Love you forever.
