Please wish me luck.... Empty
PostSubject: Please wish me luck....   Please wish me luck.... EmptyMon 26 Apr 2010, 2:39 pm

For my fourth pregnancy within the past year (now about 5 weeks). I am good at getting pregnant but my body seems to like to sabotage them (maybe sensible considering how life-threateningly sick I was last May). I am scared of miscarrying again, but even more terrified of not miscarrying and then getting PE again. I am shaking with fear at the moment. I have been on the verge of giving up, partly due to the fear, partly because stillbirth followed by 2 miscarriages seems like a pretty poor prognosis, and partly because I am 38 years old. I think this will really be my last go. Thanks for any support. xx

Wishing you so much luck!!!!!! I'm so sorry you are so worried but I completely understand, I haven't been through the miscarriages you have but i'm so scared as well. I'd be awful if i'd been through what you have. Really glad to hear you're pregnant again...I'm sure it will go well this time Smile

Hi Jules

Congratulations on your pregnancy. Wishing you a PE free one. I also want to say it is possible. Mentally it's hard but definately worth it. Wobbles are normal with all you have been through and Liz and the ladies on this site are so supportive at getting you through them.

My first baby was stillborn and I had early onset PE, followed by a miscarriage then a full term PE free pregnancy and I was a little older than you. My little boy is now 2 and means the world to us.

Take care.

Wendy

Thanks for all the positive vibes, and I'm so glad it worked out for you the 3rd time Wendy.

It is mentally very hard and I have already wobbled and been to my GP to ask for a hcg blood test. My Hcg seemed very high (so I've not miscarried yet), but now of course I am thinking I've read somewhere that high hcg in early pregnancy is associated with severe PE! I'm just on the look out for signs something might be going wrong somewhere all the time.

Good Luck Jules, you really do deserve a wonderfully boring PE free pregnancy.

Try to stay positive (incredibly hard I know).

Thinking of you
