Had another scan and doppler today. Baby meeting all its targets and blood flow good. It is a very active baby and love seeing it on scan.

Had to get another FBC taken as being on the clexane injections i am bruising badly, so consultant wanted to check my platlet level.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

Thanks everyone! Can't believe how good i'm feeling. When i was pregnant with Gerard i felt ill everyday. I thought that was the way you were meant to feel and nobody seemed concerned back then.

Anyway everyone keep well.xxx

Yes, I know that feeling, I expect we all do. I was just feeling slightly "off" a lot of the time, but no obvious symptoms to show for that. I am still so distressed that women are not better informed by their midwives about pre-eclampsia in a first pregnancy, mine was absolutely rubbish in that respect [and I was angry enough to politely tell her so afterwards]

I agree Jules,

Somehow women must be made aware.
Its strange (and terrible) that women are told about toxoplasmosis and to avoid doing certain things when in fact there were only 2 cases reported in the USA in about 5 years.

It is this very reason why I get on my soapbox wherever & whenever I can to shout it from the roof tops - and equally to support women like all of us here, who have felt its wrath.

I'd best be careful or Im going to need to split this post & send it to the "I just want to rant pages"!

Hope everyone is doing okay.

Warm wishes
Liz
