| Hi, 36+0 today; had final growth scan baby estimated weight 6lb 4.9 oz (around about the 50% percentile). This seems quite big to me as I was only 6lb 9oz when born (induced) at 42 weeks and I'm only 5'2 and pretty slight now (well not so slight right now - going to have to work on that again soon!)
She is a very normal size apart from being a bit big around the abdomen (seems like my body is trying to over-compensate when Alice was so skinny). Everything else normal e.g. blood flow. Not moving much any more but then she has no space. My blood pressure has stayed positively low (scarcely got above 110/70 at any point), no protein etc. Two pregnancies couldn't be much more different to date (touch wood). I'd still like to deliver before 39 weeks but will hopefully see consultant to argue my case next week!
Good luck to everyone else - hope things are going well x | |

| Great news Jules!! That sounds a great weight to me.
I know what you mean about two pregnancies being totally different (touch wood!!), I'm 30+4 today and feel sooo much better.
Can't wait to hear about your baby girl being born safe and well.
Take care Emma xx | |

| Hi jules, That is excellent news and a great weight too! Really looking fwd to hearing about the arrival of your baby girl Can't really believe how well all of us have done this time round. Like you say, the difference is amazing and the risk we all took has certainly been worth it. I'm sure your consultant will understand that you would like to be induced before 39 wks, good luck! I'm 38 weeks now and hopefully having a sweep this afternoon if I'm favourable. Would love it to work, as beginning to feel anxious about having him here safe and sound now. Amazingly, my bp has been really well managed and I've only had a trace of protein for a few weeks. Hope it stays that way! Emma, So pleased you have made it so far!! Really glad everything is going so well for you! Not long now Take care, Lizzie | |
