I thought its been a bit quiet here recently and was just wondering how you all are?!
I hope all our pregnant ladies are doing well - and the beast is behaving itself by staying away.
Just a bit of an update from me - as you may know I am now registered with the British Hypertension Society as a nurse specialist. As part of my new role I have now been asked to join the Working Party which looks at getting the whole country taking their blood pressure properly and accuratley. This means Health care profesionals as well as the patients!
As you will all know by know - I have a real interest in hypertensive pregnancy so this is something I intend to be championing at this higher level to ensure women, especially with high risk pregnancy are not overlooked by such a program. - I will keep you posted on any new developments in that area!
I hope all the Guy Fawkes / Halloween / Thanksgiving (and all the other) celebrations are progressing!
PS - Did you know that this forum can be viewed by phone now? Im still working on being able to post messages and replies so keep checking!
Every Woman is entitled to understand what happened in her pregnancy when pre eclampsia strikes. I hope to be able to support that process.
